Patty Meriam
Patty Meriam grew up in Nyack, NY and received a BA from Boston College in Art History/PreMed where she concentrated on Dutch 17th Century art and studied composition, style, theory, and cultural influence. She received an MS in Historic Preservation from Columbia University’s College of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation with a concentration in materials conservation.
Patty has been accepted into such artist societies as the Allied Artists of America, Oil Painters of America, Northern Vermont Artist Association, and the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club in Manhattan, The Vermont Academy of Arts and Science, Bryan Memorial Gallery, The National Art League, and the National Association of Women Artists.
She now lives in Barre, Vermont, where she is board chairperson of the Vermont Granite Museum and Stone Arts School and past chair of the Barre Opera House.
